Town hall (Magistrat der Stadt Steyr)

The city administration is housed in the Rococo town hall on the Stadtplatz, with a second service location at Pyrachstraße 7. Forms, opening hours and contacts for every department are on the official website.

Public library — Stadtbücherei Marlen Haushofer

The town library opened on 30 November 1962 in the former Hotel Nagl on Bahnhofstraße and has been named after the writer Marlen Haushofer since 2002.
